As intended the Vitesse launch party held on the beautifully sunny evening of May 31st at Close House was a great success and enjoyed by all. Champagne flowed freely as guests admired the selection of cars on display notably the Ford GT and the latest edition to the fleet the Ariel Atom. Manor Motorsport attended the event with two of their F3 racing cars and accompanying race transporter. Guest appearance from Mark Hynes and his Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car (including dents incurred last weekend in the Porsche Supercup race in Monaco) delighted many. Vitesse proudly announced that it will be sponsoring Mark for the remainder of the Supercup season and that as an honorary member of the Vitesse staff, he will be available on a regular basis to give members, should they require, tips on how to really drive a Porsche!

As a result of the successful party and the BBC Look North report presented by Colin Briggs, Vitesse membership numbers are increasing at race pace!!!
