AUGUST 08 - AWARD WINNING PHOTOGRAPHER LINKS UP WITH VITESSE
Over the coming months photographer Tim Wallace of Ambient Life will be working closely with the Vitesse management team to provide truly inspirational photography that reflects the beauty and form of the Vitesse supercar fleet as well as working to assist in advertising and marketing imagery.
"It’s great working with a client such as Vitesse as they have a real focus on their business, and totally understand the power of good quality photography.” Commented award winning photographer Tim Wallace. “Their fleet of supercars is growing constantly and to date they have some of the most desirable, and quite literally, most beautiful cars available anywhere in the world today. The Ford GT is most probably seen as their signature car and I have to admit it’s a favorite of mine, its pedigree is really amazing not to mention its history.”
Tim Continues, "A lot of people ask if I get to actually drive the cars I shoot, well I'm afraid to say the answer is yes providing time and conditions allow. I'm very lucky to have driven most of the best pieces of automotive machines ever invented and getting behind the wheel of some of these masterpieces can really give you a great insight into what they are all about. The Ford GT is no exception, when you climb, or rather fall into it, the first thing that strikes you is the pure beauty and minimalist layout of the switch gear. When you actually get round to starting that car using the engine start button it’s not hard to get the feeling that a thunder cloud just rumbled past through your rear view mirror. It’s a great car and just one of many that I'll be working with Vitesse to further promote their growing success."
Karl Lowther, Managing Director of Vitesse commented, “As soon as we saw Tim’s work we knew we had to have him on board. We have some beautiful cars in the fleet and Tim knows how to capture the essence of these fantastic cars”.
Members will soon be invited to a premier of Tim’s work with Vitesse and from the sneak previews that we have seen, we think you will be impressed.
